Storrs Campus Students
The Center for International Students and Scholars (CISS) requires new international undergraduate students to attend the CISS Welcome & Support Program. This includes, but is not limited to, students on immigrant and non-immigrant visas, permanent residents, other immigrant statuses as well as U.S. citizens who were born or have parents born outside the U.S. As part of our international community, we hope you can benefit from the services and resources provided as part of the program.

University Orientation Orientation is a 1-day program required for all new students. You will connect with peers and administrators, learn about campus resources, participate in academic advising, and register for courses. First-year and transfer students attend Orientation together. |

International Services Fair Open Bank Accounts, Set Up a U.S. Cell Phone Plan
9am-12pm (Bank Providers) A CISS staff member will be driving a shuttle van to drop off students to nearby bank service providers (banks include: Chase Bank, Bank of America, and M&T Bank).
12pm - 2pm (Cell Phone Providers) A CISS staff member will be driving a shuttle van to drop off students to a nearby cellphone provider (T-Mobile)
Mint Mobile This is a cell phone provider that you can sign-up online on your own.

Hartford Campus
